Stepping Up Your Video Game With Stop Motion by Nate Engels
Making stop motion videos can seem daunting, but they don’t have to be. Join Nate, as he films, edits, and publishes a stop motion video in under an hour. Bring your video cameras, DSLRs and iPhones, whatever you have and learn how to step up your video game.
Nate will show you how to film a successful video and walk you through the tricks of the trade. He will talk lighting, audio, angles and filming techniques. He will then, take the footage, and demonstrate how to use iMovie or MovieMaker, both standard on Windows or Mac. You will see how a stop motion video comes to life, and how to make them for your blog. This session will be ideal for the total beginner to a seasoned video veteran.
How to Strategically Use SEO and Social Media to Increase Traffic and Income by Alea Milham
In this talk, Alea Milham will share tips to help you create a growth strategy aligned to your goals for your blog. Alea will show you how to quickly and efficiently optimize your posts for SEO as you write them. She will share ways to optimize your site for ads and organically monetize your posts. Lastly, she will be sharing tips for integrating your social media strategy into the post creation process.
While in the session, attendees will optimize a post on their site, so be sure to bring your laptop computer with you. Since Alea will cover a lot of material in this 2 hour session, she will provide you with a list of items to do prior to attending the class so that you arrive prepared to get the most from this session.
